Silk Cotton fabric is a heavier weight, matte fabric most often used for high-end sportswear, corsetry, and some home d̩cor. Although this fabric has a high silk content, it is completely matte and thus is not particularly formal. It lends a luxurious feel to any garment, though, and is especially ideal for tailored suiting. It is sturdy and very forgiving to sew, and is a great fabric for garments with a lot of structure and seaming.
