Venetian Pleated Linen is a medium weight, somewhat stiff fabric with horizontal pleats ideal for home d̩cor. Although our color selection includes only natural/greige colors, as a natural fiber linen takes to fabric dye very well.

Tips and Tricks:
- This fabric is very forgiving and easy to sew, but tends to ravel at raw edges ‰ÛÒ be sure to finish all seams and hems!
- If you have trouble keeping the pleats in place, consider thread tracing edges of pattern pieces or basting pattern pieces together before sewing.
- Use standard stitch size and a universal needle when machine sewing
- Linen tends to wrinkle easily, and does not hold a pressed crease well
- Some of the finishes you can use are: French seams, overlock (serger), binding, rolled hem, hand-stitched or top-stitched hem.
Care:
Machine wash cold on delicate, hang to dry. Iron on "Cotton/Linen" setting.
