Polyester Villanova Stripe Jacquard

Polyester Villanova Stripe Jacquard is an acetate fabric that is man-made and derived from natural sources. Acetate fabrics are derived from wood pulp, which is combined with acetate anhydride to form small flakes. It is from these flakes that the fabric is created. Acetate fabric has a look similar to silk, but does not have the same texture or sensation as natural silk fabric. It has a beautiful drape. Acetate fabric is water-resistant and shrink-resistant and does not wrinkle easily. This fabric may be used in coat lining, shirts, jackets, bed sheets and drapes. Because of its flexibility and drape, it can be used in a similar manner as silk. Acetate fabric may be dyed in practically any color and may be woven together with other natural and manmade fabrics to create a jacquard as in the Villanova Stripe Jacquard.
